Due to our recent merge with Igloo Structures we now have a more extensive range of wedding tents on offer. Our two main tents for larger events and weddings are The Igloo Tent and The Stretch Tent. Both tents offer a unique stylish alternative to a traditional marquee. They can be used independently or together. The Igloo Tent can be erected on the side of The Stretch Tent providing covered space for approx 100 people
The Stretch Tent
The beauty of stretch tents is their adaptability over rough terrain. They can be erected on uneven ground, slopes and even over obstacles, unlike traditional marquees. They originated from South Africa and it is clear to see the design influences coming from the nomadic tents of northern Africa. Our stretch tent measures 10x10m and has a capacity of approx 50-60 seated or 80-100 standing. For more formal seated events we have rustic wooden trestle tables and bench seating for approx 50. If you are looking for a smarter finish we also have hard wearing coir style matting. We can also supply lighting designed specifically for the tent. Using a mix of fairy lights and LED spotlights we can adapt the lighting for any mood. If you are just wanting ambient mood lighting we can use our battery powered lights so there is no need for an electricity supply to the tent.
The Igloo Tent
The Igloo Tent is the smaller of our event tents. It measures just under 9 metre from point to point and with the walls attached it creates a 6 metre diameter enclosed space. It is a completely unique design made to our specification so you can be sure you will never see another tent like it. Because of its cosy nature with the walls attached it lens itself perfectly as a chill out lounge for weddings. We can supply the tent fully furnished for maximum chilling. Complete with Moroccan style matts, candle lanterns, bunting and unique handmade wooden benches and tables The Igloo has been described as a Vintage Bedouin Boudoir.
Decor
We strongly believe that the attention is in the detail. Which is why we use our own handmade wooden poles for The Stretch Tent and why we have designed made or upcycled nearly all of our decor. Our vintage festoon lighting was created after spending many hours trawling Ebay. The wooden cable drum tables were reclaimed from a building site waiting to be burnt and our Disco Gramophone was created one rainy afternoon after stumbling across a bag of mirror tiles. And our handmade bunting was made by us with bag of leftover retro patterned material. We like to be unique and we think our decor reflects that, check out our Rental page for more examples.
