We had our first wedding tent rental of the season this weekend. A trip up to Polhawn Fort again with the stretch tent. We supplied the tent with the matting, bunting, some ambient lighting and a little chill out area complete with bean bags, floor cushions and lanterns.
Polhawn Fort is a truly unique wedding venue situated right on cliffs at one end of Whitsand Bay. The views are incredible and it is easy to see why it gets booked up well in advance of the season. You can book the whole venue out and it has accommodation for approx 25 in the Fort itself.
When we supply the stretch tent we install it on the lower lawn which is just to the left of the main fort. It can be accessed from the steps which lead to car park so it can be useful to act as a welcome tent with drinks and canapes for guests as they arrive. It is also useful to be used as an outdoor entertainment area for the evening. We can supply ambient lighting which all runs on battery packs so there is no need for mains elctricity.
